12/24/06 – Ladies and gentlemen, after a 3 month hiatus, Moosehead Studios is back in business. Because of conflicting work schedules, and grueling hours of school-related stuff, we had to take a little break. We’re back online now though and working harder than ever to crank out Apollo.

We’d love to show you a clip of the effects shot we’ve been working on, but it may in fact ruin some of the movie for you. Let’s just say if you like pyrotechnics, you will enjoy this.

Since we’re JUST now getting back into the swing of things, there isn’t too much to show you clip/image wise. Towards the end of the semester, Moosehead Studios became a sweatshop for the students at Purdue who were in need of end-of-the-year final project videos. In two weeks we produced 5 short films, commercials and documentaries.

Last April, we had the privilege of working with Jay Rodriguez, doing graphic work for his film TORN. Now we’re teaming up again for more graphic work on his new film titled THE FIGHT WITHIN; an incredibly well-done film about the inner struggle of keeping a dream alive. The poster is approximately forty layers and took about three hours to complete.
